Information
When we reconstruct maxillary anterior missing teeth, it is hard to treat with routine prosthodontics or implant prosthodontics in alveolar horizontal and vertical bone defect by trauma or congenital deformity. We are able to reconstruct these defects using autogenous bone, allogenic bone, heterogenic bone, bone substitutes, but it is true that autogenous bone show excellent and ideal healing. The authors report two cases that present favorable prosthodontic reconstruction result using maxillary segmental osteotomy, interpositional autogenous bone graft followed by endosseous implant for bone fragment fixation and in reconstruction of maxillary anterior missing teeth with severe alveolar bone defect by trauma and cleft lip and palate.
