About This Journal

 

Introduction

The Journal of implantology and applied sciences (J Implantol Appl Sci) is the official journal of KAOMI founded on 1994. It is the leading professional journal in Korea, devoted to implant dentistry. This journal provides many clinicians, teachers and researchers with scientific progress on patient care, education and research in implant dentistry and interrelated disciplines.
The journal continues to publish the English version of clinically, or scientifically well-organized articles. The journal is published 4 times (the last day of March, June, September, and December).

 

Aim and Scope

This journal aims to convey scientific and clinical progress in the field of implant dentistry and its related areas to many dental communities concerned with the application of this information for the benefit of patients in need of dental implants.
This journal publishes;

• Original articles on high scientific merit in the field of surgical and prosthetic aspects of implant dentistry or tissue engineering, basic or clinical research, and clinical applications of implant research and technology.
• Review articles by experts on controversies and new developments in implant dentistry.
• Case reports if they provide or document new fundamental knowledge.

• Dental technique in a step-by-step format about a unique procedure helpful to dental professionals.
