We performed reimplantation using Implantium system(Dentium Co. Korea) in early failure cases of endosseous implant between Jun 2003 and Dec 2004. We presumed the possible causes of early failure as followings surgical trauma, wide diameter implant, adjacent inflammatory lesion, sinus membrane perforation, infection, wound dehiscence, and poor primary stability. All failed cases were successfully reimplanted and there were less crestal bone resorption surrounding implants. However, treatment period was extended. In these cases, the time required for the final prosthetic delivery ranged from 6 months to 20 months.
