Implant overdenture is currently a reliable alternative treatment for complete denture in an edentulous mandible. Several clinical reports demonstrated successful results with a mandibular overdenture retained by two freestanding implants. When a high initial insertion torque is achieved, immediate loading of two freestanding implants retaining a mandibular overdenture is possible. Based on scientific evidence, immediate loading with two freestanding implants retaining mandibular overdentures by magnet attachement (Magfit SX, Aichi steel coporation) was described in this study with related literature.
