The purpose of this study was to evaluate the distribution of stress and strain of anterior and posterior region after three different bone substitutes grafting in treatment of bone defects around dental implants. The distribution of stress was compared in the mandible and maxilla. In the maxilla, stress was concentrated in the bone tissues around the implant in the nasal bone. In the mandible, stress was concentrated in the posterior mandible but in the anterior mandible. Thus, caution is needed not to apply stress in high stress area.
