I performed the maxillary posterior segmental osteotomy, sinus floor elevation using bone graft and implant placement in two patients with deficiency of intermaxillary vertical space. Fractured segments were moved superiorly and fixated with titanium and/or resorbable plates. Endosseous implants were placed simultaneously in one patient. In the other patient, implants were placed 6 months after operation.
