Abstract
The literature indicates that implant-supported overdentures in the mandible provide predictable results with improved stability, retention, function and patient satisfaction compared with conventional dentures. Implants placed in the anterior mandible have a success rate equal to or greater than 95 percent. The attachment type in implant supported mandibular overdentures may influence the retention and the stability, and thus the oral function, of the prosthesis. Participant satisfaction concerning retention and stability of the mandibular overdenture had decreased significantly in the ball attachment group. The telescopic Implant prosthesis is a versatile and successful root-supported dental restoration. With the advent of implant prosthodontics, the telescopic principle was soon adopted and a range of suitable abutments developed. These abutments could be prepared and aligned to a chosen path of insertion, while the emergence profiles and contours of the abutments were under the control of the operator. The esthetics, occlusal surfaces, and structural integrity were not compromised by the need to provide multiple screw access holes. The case in this report show, flows Screw retained provisional overdenture easily and converts by telescopic implant overdenture to patient who do not satisfaction to Stud type implant overdenture through additional Implant installation. It is Used Gold Electroforming System (AGC® Wieland, German) for high retention force acquisition and accuracy. Particularly in geriatric patient treatment this concept may provide advantages in terms of handling, cleaning and long term satisfaction. Further aspects such as the expected level of oral hygiene, the patient’s economic status, cost effectiveness and the patient’'s expectations have to be considered as well.
