Abstract
When the quality and quantity of bone in maxillary posterior edentulous area are inappropriate for implant, we can con sider the sinus membrane elevation technique. Among them, we can use osteotome technique as more conservative tech ique. It has several advantages such as simple procedure compared with lateral approach to maxillary sinus, short healing period. But osteotome technique is very technical sensitive and patients tend to suffer from headache during malleting. The purpose of this study is to report the minimal invasive technique which elevates maxillary sinus floor by crestal approach using drilling method instead of osteotome technique.
